Job Description – Inside Sales Officer Job Summary The Inside Sales Executive will be responsible for managing all inbound and outbound customer interactions. This includes handling enquiry calls, responding to customer comments and messages on social media, managing enquiry emails, and making outbound calls to prospective leads to generate sales. The role combines communication, customer support, lead nurturing, and proactive sales follow-ups to help drive growth for Cocoguru. Key Responsibilities Inbound Communication •Handle incoming enquiry calls from customers, distributors, retailers, and prospects. •Respond to comments, messages, and enquiries received on social media platforms. •Reply to enquiry emails promptly and professionally. •Maintain accurate records of every customer interaction. Outbound Sales •Make outbound calls to leads generated from online platforms, campaigns, website, exhibitions, and referrals. •Understand customer needs and provide product information, pricing, and benefits. •Convert leads into sales or distributor/retailer relationships. •Follow up on warm leads and nurture them into long-term customers. Coordination & Reporting •Update CRM, spreadsheets, or internal systems with lead details, status, and outcomes. •Coordinate with sales, marketing, and dispatch teams for order processing. •Escalate customer complaints or important queries to the concerned team. •Share daily and weekly reports on calls handled, leads covered, and conversions Qualifications •Bachelor’s degree preferred (any discipline). •1–3 years of experience in inside sales, telecalling, customer support, or similar roles. •Freshers with strong communication skills may also be considered. Knowledge •Basic understanding of sales processes and customer handling. •Knowledge of FMCG or edible oil industry is an added advantage. •Familiarity with digital platforms such as WhatsApp Business, Facebook, Instagram, and email tools. Skills •Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Kannada, and ideally Tulu. •Strong phone etiquette and active listening. •Ability to explain products clearly and persuasively. •Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining accurate records. •Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Attitude •Customer-centric mindset with a positive, helpful approach. •Proactive and self-driven to meet call and conversion targets. •Polite, patient, and professional behaviour at all times. •Willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve. •Strong sense of responsibility and ownership. Working Conditions •Work Timings: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Timings may be extended when work demands. •Working Days: Monday to Saturday. Sunday is a weekly holiday. •Work Mode: Work from home, provided the environment is free from noise and disturbance. •Equipment: Candidate must use their own phone and computer with reliable power backup and stable internet connection. •Travel: Occasional travel to the Cocoguru Puttur Office when required. •Call Recording: All work-related phone calls must be recorded and shared with the management for review. •Video Calls: Must attend video calls with the camera on. Meetings may be recorded and shared with management. Compensation •Fixed monthly CTC: ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 •Includes ESI, PF, and PT •Salary paid on or before the 7th of the following month •₹3,000 monthly incentive for exceeding sales targets •10 festival holidays and 14 paid leaves per year
