Job Description

Primary title (optimized): Inside Sales Executive

About The Opportunity

We operate in the digital education and EdTech content-streaming sector, creating engaging learning experiences and subscription services for learners and institutions. As we scale in India with a fully remote sales organization, we're hiring results-driven Inside Sales talent to accelerate revenue and expand customer footprint across enterprise and SMB segments.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads quickly—conduct discovery calls, assess fit, and advance opportunities through the sales funnel to meet weekly and monthly quota.
  • Manage a high-volume outreach program using phone, email, and LinkedIn cadences to generate pipeline and convert trials/pilots into paying accounts.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity and activity records in the CRM; update forecasts and contribute to pipeline reviews.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms within approved guidelines to close deals and ensure smooth handover to Customer Success for onboarding.
  • Continuously refine scripts, objection-handling, and outreach sequences using performance data to improve conversion rates and average deal size.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
  • 2+ years of inside sales, B2B tele-sales, or SaaS/EdTech sales experience in a quota-driven role (India market preferred).
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and building pipeline through cold outreach and inbound lead qualification.
  • Hands-on experience with CRMs, opportunity management, and sales reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; persuasive phone presence and strong email outreach skills.
  • Comfortable negotiating contract terms and closing deals remotely; solid commercial acumen and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working remotely across India time zones.

Preferred

  • Experience selling digital learning, subscription platforms, or SaaS solutions to education, corporate L&D, or training teams.
  • Familiarity with sequence tools, demo platforms (Zoom), and basic data analysis for conversion optimisation.
