About NIIF

Key Job Responsibilities

The CA Industrial Trainee will work under the guidance of the finance team to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of corporate finance, accounting, and compliance. This position provides exposure to real-world business operations and helps trainees develop practical skills aligned with ICAI guidelines.

 

MIS & Performance Reporting

Audit & Valuation

•      Assisting in preparing capital call notices of investors based on the cash flow projections of the fund

•      Assisting in preparing investor distribution workings, notices and tax computations

•      Assisting with the preparation of quarterly reporting to investors on the funds’

•      Assisting in the preparation of financial statements during statutory and internal audits.

•      Exposure for various tax and regulatory compliances

•      Co-ordinating with the fund management team, outsourced providers, and other internal teams to ensure seamless operations.

•      Assisting in day-to-day accounting and record keeping.

•      Staying updated on the latest industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes affecting the AIF industry.

•      Support in drafting oral and written materials for the management and investors.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

•      Qualification: Must meet all ICAI requirements for Industrial Training

•      Eligible for industrial training as per ICAI norms.

•      Software Skills: Proficiency in the MS Office suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

•   Articleship or employment with a Big4 audit firm or another Private Equity Funds/Alternative Investment Fund, or from a financial services background will be an added advantage.
