KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Drive HSE related activities in Plant / Plants To inculcate the spirit of safety among workers by Conducting Campaigns like National Safety Week, National Environment Day, National Fire Service Week, World Health Day etc. Identifying potential hazards and risk associated with and taking necessary preventive measures. Closely monitoring high risk activities through PTW. Timely applying and obtaining certificates like CTO, Groundwater NOC, Fire NOC, Annual Returns of Hazardous Waste and e-waste, Self-Compliance Ground water, Certification of various tools and tackles, pressure vessels etc. Responsible for legislative compliance as per various acts under EHS Ensure Periodic inspection, maintenance and record keeping of firefighting equipment to plan, organize and impart training program for employees in SHE Conducting training as per the Planned Annual Training Calendar. Conducting Mock Drill to tackle various emergency situations at Manufacturing Units. Investigating & Analyzing of Root Cause of any incidents or near miss taken place at site with remedial action. Environment Management - handling waste materials, Hazardous Waste, Used oil management, solid waste, spill containment, Plastic Waste disposal, Battery Waste etc. Implementation of company HSE policy and health, safety and environment rules & regulations. Conduct safety induction program for all new joinee and refresher trainings for others. Submission of monthly MIS Report to Management and maintaining various forms, Certificates, registers and HSE records.

Role & responsibilities Assist in collecting environmental data related to waste handling, segregation, and treatment processes. Perform accurate data entry and documentation of waste types, quantities, disposal methods, and treatment records. Support in monitoring the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and help with routine operational checks under supervision. Assist in preparing reports required for Pollution Control Board (PCB) compliance and audits. Maintain documentation related to hazardous/non-hazardous waste movement and treatment. Ensure proper housekeeping and safe practices in the waste handling and ETP area. Follow environmental and safety guidelines laid out by the EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) team. Provide support during internal and external audits and help compile environmental records as needed. Preferred candidate profile Qualification: Bachelor's/ Master's in Environment Science, or related field. Basic understanding of waste management procedures, environmental norms, or ETP functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing data systems, coordinating key reports, facilitating training programs, and executing EHS projects while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sustainability Strategy Troubleshoot and maintain the SDM Portal for sustainability-related data collection from all sites covering safety, environment, energy, and sustainability performance. Coordinate with various stakeholders to compile, review, and finalize reports such as BRSR (Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report), Annual Reports, and other sustainability disclosures. Ensure timely and complete data submission to support internal and external reporting requirements. 2. Compliance Management Ensure that all new project initiatives are aligned with statutory requirements and secure necessary approvals from bodies such as MOEF&CC, State Pollution Control Boards, Factory Inspectorate, Fire Services, CGWA, PESO, etc. Monitor and ensure timely acquisition, renewal, and maintenance of all necessary permits and licenses. Keep updated with changes in EHS and environmental laws to ensure continued compliance. 3. IMS Systems Implementation and Maintenance Develop, update, and maintain IMS documents and procedures as per the latest standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.). Lead initiatives related to the development of new IMS manuals and ensure organization-wide adherence. 4. EHS Training & Initiatives Plan and organize EHS-related events and campaigns at corporate and site levels, both online and offline. Coordinate external training programs to enhance awareness and competency across all locations. Track training hours and evaluate the effectiveness of training interventions. 5. Project Management Identify, develop, and implement special EHS and sustainability projects based on organizational needs. Execute assessments and projects within agreed timelines and ensure measurable impact. 6. Best Practices Sharing Document and circulate at least two EHS best practices or safety contact learnings every month across all sites. Maintain a repository of shared practices and encourage cross-site learning. Key Skills and Competencies: In-depth knowledge of environmental and industrial safety laws and regulations. Experience with compliance management and regulatory liaison. Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks such as BRSR, GRI, SDG mapping, etc. Working knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001). Proficient in data handling, report generation, and MS Office tools. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
