Safety Supervisor

As a Safety Supervisor at LR Energy, your role is crucial in implementing and monitoring safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments at project sites and facilities. Identifying potential hazards, recommending corrective actions, and delivering safety training programs will be key responsibilities. Your ability to investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective action plans is essential. Maintaining records of safety inspections, training, and incident reports, as well as ensuring the proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) are vital for fostering a safety-first culture across all operations. Key Responsibilities: - Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs - Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments - Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions - Deliver safety training and awareness programs - Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports - Maintain records of safety inspections, training, and incident reports - Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) - Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to develop site-specific safety plans - Stay updated on industry safety standards, regulations, and best practices - Foster a safety-first culture and promote continuous improvement in safety performance Qualifications: - Diploma in Industrial Safety or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety-related role - Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in preparing safety reports and documentation - Ability to conduct training sessions and lead safety meetings effectively - Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills - Certification in First Aid or Emergency Response is a plus LR Energy is a leader in the renewable energy sector, specializing in sustainable solutions such as Compressed Biogas (CBG), solar power, and water treatment projects.
