Human Resources Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable HR Officer with a postgraduate background in Master of Labour Welfare (MLW). The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in labour laws, employee welfare, industrial relations, and HR best practices. This role requires someone passionate about building a positive work environment, ensuring compliance, and promoting employee engagement and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations & Welfare

ü Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and resolve issues promptly.

ü Implement and monitor employee welfare programs and activities.

ü Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.

Industrial Relations

ü Maintain healthy relations between management and employees/trade unions.

ü Assist in handling disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and dispute management.

ü Ensure compliance with labour laws and support collective bargaining processes, if applicable.

HR Operations

ü Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes.

ü Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.

ü Process payroll inputs, attendance, and leave management.

Compliance & Policy Implementation

ü Ensure adherence to statutory obligations such as PF, ESIC, labour welfare fund, etc.

ü Support audits and inspections from labour authorities.

ü Draft and implement HR policies aligned with labour law and company objectives.

Education:

ü Master of Labour Welfare (MLW) from a recognized university.

ü Additional certifications in HR, labour laws, or industrial relations will be a plus.

Experience:

ü 1–3 years of experience in an HR generalist or employee relations role (Freshers with strong internships and practical exposure are also encouraged to apply).
