About Edvelup: Edvelup is a fast-growing edtech startup on a mission to empower individuals with affordable, practical, and skill-based online education. As we expand, we’re looking for a dynamic HR Executive who can help us build a strong, values-driven team and shape a positive work culture. Role Overview: As the HR Executive, you will take ownership of our people operations from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement and policy building. This is a hands-on role in a startup environment, ideal for someone who enjoys setting up systems, building culture, and working closely with leadership. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end recruitment for academic, operations, marketing, and tech roles Build HR processes from scratch: onboarding, performance reviews, policy drafting, and exit management Handle employee engagement, team bonding activities, and wellness initiatives Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain up-to-date employee records Manage attendance, leaves, payroll coordination and Zoho People integration Handle grievance redressal, conflict resolution, and internal communications Develop internal L&D programs in collaboration with team leads Maintain a people-first, inclusive, and transparent work culture Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR Management or related field Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience using HR software like Zoho People, Keka, or GreytHR Ability to work independently and take initiative What We Offer: A collaborative and transparent startup work culture Freedom to implement ideas and make an impact Flexible working environment (remote friendly) Growth opportunities as the company scales Competitive salary and performance-based hikes Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Paid sick time Paid time off Work from home Schedule: Fixed shift Ability to commute/relocate: HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: sales recruiting: 1 year (Required) Language: Malayalam (Required) Work Location: In person
