Role Description Key Responsibilities: Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and central labor laws and employment regulations. Maintain and update statutory records such as PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages, Shops & Establishment Act, etc. Coordinate with external agencies for audits and inspections (labor, PF, ESIC, etc.). Conduct internal HR audits and recommend corrective measures. Draft, implement, and regularly update HR policies in line with legal changes. Liaise with legal counsel and government bodies on compliance-related matters. Ensure employee contracts and HR documents are compliant with applicable laws. Maintain documentation related to disciplinary actions, investigations, and compliance training. Conduct awareness programs and training sessions for staff on company policies, workplace ethics, and regulatory obligations. Assist in handling employee grievances related to non-compliance or unfair practices. Stay updated on labor law amendments and communicate key changes to the HR team and management. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance frameworks. Attention to detail and high integrity. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. Proficient in MS Office and HRMS systems.
