Job Description

HR Compliance Manager



Key Responsibilities

  1. Attendance & Workforce Management

  2. Manage and monitor attendance records across multiple locations including corporate office, project sites, and manufacturing plants.
  3. Ensure accuracy of attendance data for salary processing and statutory compliance.
  4. Statutory Compliances (PF/ESI & Labour Laws)

  5. Ensure timely and accurate compliance with 

    PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Minimum Wages Act, and other state-specific labour laws

    .
  6. Maintain records and ensure smooth inspections, audits, and liaison with statutory bodies.
  7. Contractor Management

  8. Oversee contractor employee salary processing, wage disbursements, and ensure payment compliance.
  9. Verify that all contractors comply with 

    PF/ESI submissions, challans, and records

    .
  10. Conduct periodic audits of contractor compliance documentation.
  11. Compliance Assurance

  12. Ensure all local/state-level statutory compliances are adhered to in line with labour law requirements.
  13. Track amendments in labour laws and update management on implications for company operations.
  14. Coordinate with external consultants or legal advisors for compliance-related matters.
  15. Documentation & Reporting

  16. Maintain updated registers, records, and MIS for audits and statutory inspections.
  17. Submit compliance reports to management periodically.



Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Additional certification in 

    Labour Laws/Statutory Compliance

     preferred.
  • Experience:

  • Minimum 

    6 years of experience in HR compliance

    , with at least 

    5 years in a manufacturing industry

    setup.
  • Proven experience in handling PF, ESI, contractor workforce compliance, and multi-location attendance management.



Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of 

    Indian labour laws, social security schemes, and statutory filings

    .
  • Hands-on experience with 

    PF/ESI portals and compliance software

    .
  • Ability to manage contractors, external consultants, and statutory inspectors.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and documentation discipline.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.



Key Result Areas (KRAs)

  1. Statutory Compliance:

     100% on-time PF, ESI, and other labour law filings.
  2. Audit Performance:

     Zero non-compliance observations during statutory audits/inspections.
  3. Attendance Management:

     Accurate attendance records across all locations with <1% error rate.
  4. Contractor Compliance:

     100% contractor adherence to statutory obligations.
  5. Reporting:

     Timely MIS and compliance reports submitted to management.

Salary

3.6 – 5.0 LPA (depending on experience and qualifications)
