Role & responsibilities Job Responsibilities Electrical Engineer (Foundry Machine Installation) 1. Planning & Coordination Study machine electrical load data, single line diagrams (SLDs), and OEM manuals before installation. Coordinate with mechanical and civil teams to ensure proper cable trenches, raceways, and conduits are in place before machine installation. Prepare electrical installation schedules, manpower planning, and tool requirements. 2. Electrical Installation & Supervision Supervise installation of power and control panels, MCCs, PCCs, switchgear, transformers, distribution boards, and earthing systems . Ensure proper laying, glanding, and termination of power cables, control cables, and bus ducts as per standards. Oversee installation of motors, furnaces, compressors, conveyors, blowers, dust collectors , and their associated control wiring. Verify earthing, bonding, and lightning protection for foundry equipment. 3. Testing & Commissioning Conduct IR tests, continuity tests, polarity checks, and high-voltage withstand tests for cables and equipment. Supervise pre-commissioning checks for motors, drives (VFDs), PLC panels, and instrumentation wiring. Support OEM engineers in machine commissioning, load trials, and performance tests. Troubleshoot electrical issues during machine start-up and stabilize power distribution. 4. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with IE Rules, IS/IEC standards , and factory safety norms . Implement safe electrical work practices in high-temperature and dust-prone foundry environments. Maintain installation checklists, inspection reports, and safety audit records. 5. AutoCAD & Documentation Prepare/review electrical layout drawings, cable routing plans, panel GA drawings, and earthing layouts in AutoCAD . Update as-built electrical drawings after modifications during installation. Document daily progress, test reports, and commissioning records. 6. Team Supervision & Vendor Coordination Guide electricians and technicians during installation and testing activities. Coordinate with equipment suppliers and contractors for technical clarifications. Train operators and maintenance teams on electrical safety and machine operating procedures. Preferred candidate profile Preferred Candidate Profile Electrical Engineer (Foundry Machine Installation) Education : B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Diploma holders with strong relevant experience may also be considered). Experience : 3–7 years of hands-on experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of heavy industrial/foundry machines . Exposure to furnaces, compressors, conveyors, motors, VFDs, MCC/PCC panels, and power distribution systems in foundry/steel/engineering plants. Technical Skills : Proficient in AutoCAD for electrical layout drawings, cable schedules, panel GA drawings, and earthing layouts. Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, motor control circuits, PLCs, VFDs, and instrumentation wiring . Experience in cable sizing, load calculation, and panel design verification . Familiar with testing procedures (insulation resistance, high-pot, continuity, loop checks, etc.). Awareness of IS/IEC standards, IE rules, and factory electrical safety regulations . Behavioral Attributes : Strong leadership in supervising electricians/technicians during high-risk installation work. Ability to coordinate with mechanical and civil teams for smooth installation. R Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Compliance & Implementation Ensure full compliance with ADB Safeguard Policy Statement (SPS 2009) , national EHS regulations, and project-specific environmental management plans (EMP). Implement workplace health & safety policies, risk assessments, and environmental management systems at project sites. 2. Monitoring & Reporting Conduct daily site inspections to monitor environmental, health, and safety compliance. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual EHS reports for submission to project authorities, consultants, and ADB as per prescribed formats. Maintain accident/incident logs and ensure timely reporting to relevant stakeholders. 3. Risk & Hazard Management Identify potential hazards and unsafe practices; recommend corrective/preventive actions. Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans, emergency preparedness, and disaster response strategies. 4. Documentation & Audits Maintain all permits, licenses, and statutory clearances related to EHS. Assist in internal and external audits conducted by ADB/independent agencies. Ensure corrective action implementation from audit findings. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors / Masters degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field . NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certification preferred. Minimum 5+ years’ experience in EHS management on large-scale infrastructure projects (ADB/World Bank/Multilateral funded projects preferred). Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Roles & Responsibilities: Lead the entire Finance, Accounting, and Costing Department for the manufacturing unit. Supervise all aspects of financial accounting, MIS reporting, and statutory compliance . Prepare and monitor annual budgets , cash flow statements , and financial forecasts . Handle cost accounting and product costing specific to casting and foundry operations , including overhead absorption and process costing. Oversee accounts payable/receivable , bank reconciliations , and fund flow management . Ensure timely monthly and annual financial closures , trial balance, and P&L finalization. Manage GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory returns and coordinate with auditors. Liaise with banks and financial institutions for credit facilities, LC/BG arrangements, and working capital management. Implement and monitor internal control systems , ERP / Tally-based financial reporting, and audit compliance. Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and monitor project cost vs. budget for industrial expansion.
