Job Description:

Designation: Human Resources Associate

Reporting to: Managing Trustee / CEO

Purpose of the Role: To manage and oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth functioning of all HR processes and fostering a high- performance work culture.

Location: Dadar, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage and oversee daily HR operations.
• Support leadership in maintaining and developing a high-performance work culture to a team of approximately 35 employees.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for staff concerns while maintaining professional boundaries and emotional composure.
• Foster a healthy work environment through empathetic listening, problem-solving, and timely HR interventions.
• Recruit candidates as per job descriptions and manage the end-to-end recruitment process.
• Manage relationships with empaneled recruitment service providers.
• Conduct induction and onboarding of new employees.
• Ensure timely execution of performance reviews and appraisals.
• Implement employee training and development programs.
• Facilitate smooth exit management and coordinate with relevant departments.
• Maintain accurate employee records and documentation using an HRIS system.
• Collaborate with finance and accounts teams for payroll processing and labor law compliance.
• Develop and execute an annual calendar for employee engagement initiatives.
• Provide strategic HR insights by analyzing employee data and records.
• Manage administrative tasks related to HR functions as needed.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Educational Background: Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience managing HR for an organization with 20+ employees.

Additional Information:

The role may require occasional travel based on organisational needs.
