Hub Manager

Hub Operations Management: Overseeing all aspects of the hub's daily operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow, and adhering to company policies and standards.  Inventory Management: Ensuring accurate tracking of inventory, maintaining optimal stock levels, and implementing measures to minimize discrepancies, shrinkage, and damages.  Logistics & Dispatch Coordination: Planning, organizing, and coordinating dispatches from the hub to ensure timely delivery of materials. This includes optimizing load management and route planning for efficient deliveries.  Team Management: Supervising, coaching, and developing a team of hub staff, including warehouse workers, drivers, and administrative personnel.  Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost per shipment, on-time delivery, and operational throughput, and reporting on performance to senior management.  Safety and Compliance: Ensuring all hub operations comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.  Issue Resolution: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve overall efficiency.  Vendor Management: Managing relationships with third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers involved in logistics at the hub.  Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as a point of contact for customer escalations and building relationships with local vendors and other stakeholders.  Financial and Administrative Duties: Managing hub budgeting, petty cash, and COD reconciliation, and ensuring accurate accounting and timely deposits.  Process Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement in operational processes and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.  Technology Utilization: Utilizing technology and systems to manage operations, track shipments, and improve overall efficiency.
