Job Purpose: To oversee and manage the end-to-end operations of the hub, ensuring smooth and timely movement of shipments, manpower management, adherence to SOPs, and achievement of performance targets (TAT, productivity, cost, quality). Key Responsibilities: 1. Hub Operations Management: Ensure timely inbound and outbound movement of shipments. Monitor and manage Last Mile Delivery (LMD) and First Mile Pickup (FMP). Maintain inventory accuracy, returns management, and loss prevention. Optimize route planning and vehicle loading/unloading schedules. 2. Team & Manpower Managements: delivery associates, sorters, supervisors, and third-party manpower. Plan shifts and allocate duties for optimal coverage. Monitor productivity and ensure safety and discipline. 3. Process Compliance: Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure proper documentation, scanning, and tracking of shipments. Maintain audit readiness and compliance with company policies. 4. Customer Experience: Ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers. Address delivery issues, customer escalations, and service failures. 5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track daily performance metrics (TAT, NDR, RTO, etc.). Generate and share periodic reports with senior management. Implement process improvement initiatives based on data. 6. Asset & Infrastructure Management: Maintain hub infrastructure, security, and cleanliness. Oversee usage and maintenance of scanners, vehicles, and other assets. Key Skills & Competencies:Strong leadership and people management skills Knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and transportation processes Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability Proficiency in MS Excel, logistics software/tools Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
