Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Supervising daily operations, including receiving, storing, and delivering orders.  Managing sort and load activities, ensuring accurate sorting and timely dispatch of packages.  Optimizing workflows and streamlining processes to improve efficiency and productivity.  Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.  Inventory and Logistics Management: Ensuring efficient inventory management, including tracking and managing stock levels.  Managing logistics and transportation, including coordinating with vendors and drivers.  Monitoring and managing inward, outward, cross-docking, and consolidation processes.  Ensuring on-time deliveries and managing product mismatches.  Team Leadership and Development: Leading, mentoring, and motivating the hub team.  Providing training and development opportunities for team members.  Conducting performance appraisals and providing feedback.  Ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment.  Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, customers, and other departments.  Communicating effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and address any issues.  Collaborating with other teams, such as feeder and dispatch operations, to coordinate activities.  Safety and Compliance: Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment.  Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.  Conducting audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.  Financial Management: Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective operations.  Monitoring and controlling expenses, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.  Preparing and analyzing financial reports.  Other Responsibilities: Developing and implementing strategic initiatives to improve hub performance.  Identifying and resolving operational issues and conflicts.  Managing and resolving customer complaints.  Managing cash collection, reconciliation, and petty cash.  Coordinating with other departments and stakeholders for efficient operations.  Ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.  Participating in the planning and execution of continuous improvement initiatives
