HR & Operations Specialist

As an HR & Operations Specialist at Ascentt, you will play a crucial role in supporting HR and operational functions. With 5-6 years of HR experience, you will leverage your excellent communication skills to ensure smooth HR operations, enhance employee engagement, and facilitate effective internal communication within the organization. Your key responsibilities will include managing US immigration processes, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, vendor management, and overseeing HR operations. You will be involved in preparing and filing immigration applications such as H-1B, L-1, and permanent residency applications. Additionally, you will collaborate with senior specialists to develop strategies for complex immigration cases and stay updated on immigration law changes and best practices. Your role will also involve assisting the Compliance department with the I9 process, background verifications, and reports for adverse activity on reinvestigation cases. Experience in implementing Rippling functionality, knowledge of HR systems, and the ability to develop HR metrics and dashboards will be essential for success in this role. Familiarity with international operations and remote locations will be advantageous. To excel in this role, you should be a strategic thinker, capable of executing tactically while aligning with long-term goals and company objectives. Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in project management, will be key to your success. A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field of study is preferred.
