Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Operations & Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processes and support core HR operational functions. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate payroll execution, compliance, and seamless employee lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Management (50%)

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including incentives, reimbursements, and statutory deductions (PF, ESIC, TDS, etc.)
  • Coordinate with finance and external payroll vendors for audits, reconciliations, and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to statutory laws and maintain necessary payroll documentation
  • Handle employee queries related to salary, taxation, and payroll deductions.

HR Operations (50%)

  • Manage employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, documentation, confirmation, transfers, and exit formalities
  • Maintain and regularly update HRMS systems and employee records
  • Support HR policy implementation and ensure company-wide compliance
  • Generate reports and analytics related to attendance, leaves, and headcount
  • Assist in internal audits, background verifications, and employee grievance handling
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT/Admin/Finance) for smooth HR operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR is a plus)
  • Minimum 3 years of total HR experience
  • At least 1 year of hands-on payroll processing
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR operations
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, payroll compliance, and tax regulations
  • Experience working with HRMS platforms (e.g., Keka, GreytHR, Zoho People, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of confidentiality
