HR Operations & Payroll Specialist

You will be joining a forward-thinking and rapidly growing edtech company, Newton School, dedicated to transforming the education scenario. The company fosters a collaborative, high-performance culture committed to operational excellence, strategic HR practices, and overall employee engagement. As part of your role, you will be responsible for managing HR operations, including pre-onboarding, onboarding, exit formalities, HRMS updates, and compliance documentation. Additionally, you will maintain and update employee records, salary structures, and benefits administration. You will also support audits and ensure adherence to labor laws and organizational policies. Furthermore, you will partner with the People team during employee appraisals and compensation review cycles. Key Responsibilities: - Manage HR operations such as pre-onboarding, onboarding, exit formalities, HRMS updates, and compliance documentation. - Maintain and update employee records, salary structures, and benefits administration. - Support audits and ensure adherence to labor laws and organizational policies. - Partner with the People team during employee appraisals and compensation review cycles.
