HR Operations & Payroll Specialist

As a member of the HR team at Newton School, you will be responsible for managing HR operations and ensuring compliance with labor laws and organizational policies. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities will be key in maintaining and updating employee records, salary structures, and benefits administration. You will also support audits and collaborate with the People team during employee appraisals and compensation review cycles. Key Responsibilities: - Manage HR operations, including pre-onboarding, onboarding, exit formalities, HRMS updates, and compliance documentation. - Maintain and update employee records, salary structures, and benefits administration. - Support audits and ensure adherence to labor laws and organizational policies. - Partner with People team during employee appraisals and compensation review cycles. Qualifications Required: - Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability. - Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively. - High integrity, ownership mindset, and strong intent to deliver. It would be nice to have experience in scaling HR operations across geographies or multiple entities, as well as knowledge of compensation benchmarking and rewards strategy.,
