ROLE SUMMARY

Vanya Veda Lab is building a science-backed luxury beauty house from India. We need a versatile HR & Office Admin professional who can manage hiring, onboarding, HR operations, and day-to-day office administration. This role demands strong ownership, discipline, and the ability to keep the office running smoothly while supporting people operations.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Recruitment & HR Operations

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for HQ, Sales, Marketing, and Operations roles
  • Draft job descriptions, screen candidates, schedule interviews
  • Manage onboarding, induction, and joining documentation
  • Maintain employee records, attendance and leaves.
  • Support payroll inputs, confirmation letters, and probation reviews
  • Assist in employee engagement and basic grievance handling

2. Office & Facility Management

  • Oversee smooth functioning of the office
  • Manage front-desk duties: calls, couriers, visitors, meeting room setup

3. Administrative & Coordination Support

  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, support the founders’ office
  • Coordinate travel bookings, hotel reservations, courier dispatches
  • Maintain documentation, filing systems, and vendor paperwork
  • Support logistics for internal events, product shoots, and trainings

4. Vendor & Procurement Support

  • Source quotations, manage basic negotiations, prepare purchase requests
  • Track deliveries, maintain supply inventories, and coordinate with finance for payments

5. Training & Culture Support

  • Assist in coordinating onboarding sessions, sales trainings, and product sessions
  • Support internal communication and drive a disciplined, organised culture across teams



IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • 1–4 years of experience in HR, admin, or a hybrid HR-Admin role
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and follow-up discipline
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, founder-led start-up environment
  • High reliability, professionalism, and ownership mindset
