HR MANAGER

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and HR Managers to lead the Human Resources department of our prestigious Colleges and Hospital.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with our institution's core mission of excellence in education, research, and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

• Lead all recruitment efforts for faculty, medical staff (doctors, nurses, technicians), administrative, and support staff.
• Develop specialized recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill clinical and academic positions.
• Oversee the credentialing, background check, and privileging process for all medical staff, ensuring full compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., Medical Council, Nursing Council).
• Implement a comprehensive onboarding program tailored to the unique needs of different employee groups (clinical vs. academic).

2. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, healthcare regulations (e.g., NABH, DCI/NMC guidelines), and institutional policies.
• Oversee the management of employee records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, managing grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in a fair and timely manner.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee morale, engagement, and retention.

4. Compensation & Benefits

• Administer and manage the institution's compensation structure, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness, particularly for specialized medical and academic roles.
• Manage the payroll process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

5. Performance Management & Development

• Oversee the annual performance appraisal process for all staff, linking performance to professional development and compensation.
• Identify training needs and develop professional development programs, including mandatory compliance training, clinical skills enhancement, and leadership development.
• Manage faculty affairs, including promotion, tenure processes, and academic appointments, in collaboration with the Dean's office.

6. HR Operations

• Lead and mentor the HR department staff, delegating tasks and managing departmental performance.
• Manage HRIS (Human Resource Information System) to optimize HR processes and data management.
• Prepare and manage the HR department's annual budget.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• Education: Preferred Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration (MBA with HR specialization), or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience.
• At least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Direct experience in a hospital, healthcare system, or academic medical center is strongly required.
• Skills:
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals, from senior surgeons to support staff.
• Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
• High degree of emotional intelligence, integrity, and professionalism.
• Proficiency in HRIS and standard office software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
