HR Manager – Educational Institution (School) Location: Meerut, Uttar Pradesh Organization: RK International School Employment Type: Full-time Experience: 5–10 years (Minimum 2–3 years in school/education sector preferred) Joining: Immediate About RK International School: RK International School, affiliated with CISCE Board, is a reputed educational institution in Meerut that combines academic excellence with Indian cultural and spiritual values. With a growing team and student base, we are looking for an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead our human resource functions and help build a strong, empowered institutional culture. Role Objective: To oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring the school attracts, develops, and retains high-quality staff while maintaining a positive and compliant work environment. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end hiring of teaching and non-teaching staff. Coordinate job postings, interviews, offer letters, and joining formalities. Conduct staff orientation and induction programs. Employee Management & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date employee records (attendance, leave, payroll coordination, etc.). Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Labour Laws). Draft HR policies in alignment with school values and legal standards. Performance Management: Implement appraisal systems, set KPIs/KRAs across departments. Manage performance reviews, feedback sessions, and growth plans. Staff Engagement & Retention: Organize team-building activities, workshops, and internal training programs. Resolve grievances and maintain a healthy work culture. Administrative Coordination: Support leadership in policy enforcement, audits, and school operations. Prepare HR reports and documentation for management review. Key Requirements: MBA/PGDM in HR or relevant field. 5–10 years of experience in HR management; education sector preferred. Strong knowledge of labour laws, employee engagement, and recruitment practices. Proficient in MS Office, HR software/ERP systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi. Ethical, approachable, and well-organized. Preferred Qualities: Experience in handling school staff (teachers, admin, transport, etc.). Ability to balance compassion with discipline. Solution-oriented and committed to institutional growth.
