Job Title: HR Manager Location: Kolkata Salary: Up to ₹60,000 per month About the Company: A reputed and long-standing player in the jute manufacturing sector, the company is known for its large-scale operations, skilled workforce, and export-oriented production. It emphasizes people-centric policies, compliance, and workforce efficiency across its mill operations. Job Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and statutory compliance. Manage attendance, leave, and shift scheduling for factory and office staff. Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and industrial relations in coordination with the management. Ensure compliance with labour laws, PF, ESI, and other statutory regulations. Maintain and update HR records, MIS reports, and HR dashboards for regular reviews. Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee engagement initiatives. Coordinate with external consultants and government departments for HR audits and inspections. Assist in performance appraisal cycles, training programs, and manpower planning. Candidate Requirements: Minimum 7–10 years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing or jute/textile industry. Strong understanding of factory HR practices, labour laws, and statutory requirements. Experience in handling large blue-collar workforce and unionised environments is preferred. Proficient in MS Office and HRMS/ERP systems. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources or relevant discipline.
