Position : Accountant Location : Salt Lake Sector 1, Kolkata Company : A reputed Chartered Accountancy firm Salary : Up to ₹50,000 per month Experience Required : Minimum 5 years in a Chartered Accountancy firm Job Description We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in working at a Chartered Accountancy firm. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in accounting principles, taxation, audits, and statutory compliance. Key Responsibilities : Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny. Finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements. Manage statutory compliances such as GST, TDS, Income Tax filings. Support audit processes including internal, statutory, and tax audits. Coordinate with clients on regular accounting, taxation, and documentation matters. Requirements : Minimum 5 years of experience working in a CA firm (compulsory). Strong knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software. Sound understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC compliance. Good communication skills and client handling ability. B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter preferred.
