Job Title: HR Manager

Location: Siliguri

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Director/CEO

Job Summary:

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources function including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, payroll, compliance, and HR policies. The role requires a strategic mindset to align HR practices with business goals while ensuring a positive work culture and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance management.
  • Oversee performance management processes and guide managers in employee evaluations.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to build a motivated workforce.
  • Supervise payroll, attendance, and leave management systems.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development programs.
  • Maintain HR records, reports, and HRMS database with accuracy.
  • Advise management on HR best practices, organizational structure, and succession planning.
  • Lead disciplinary procedures and exit formalities with professionalism.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5–8 years) in HR management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in HRMS tools, MS Office, and payroll management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
