Job Title: HR Generalist – Hospitality / F&B / Restaurant IndustrySalary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month Department: Human Resources Reporting To: HR Manager / HR Head Role OverviewThe HR Generalist will be responsible for end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR documentation, attendance & payroll coordination for hospitality units. The role requires strong coordination with Operations Teams, Unit Managers, and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities1️⃣ Recruitment & StaffingSource candidates for various hospitality roles – Service, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Retail, etc. Screen and schedule candidates for interviews. Coordinate interview rounds and maintain status tracker (Selected / Rejected / Hold). Assist with manpower planning and timely deployment. 2️⃣ Onboarding & DocumentationCollect and verify candidate KYC, Resume, Joining Forms. Create employee code in HRMS and ensure all records are updated. Uniform issuance & locker register maintenance. Conduct HR induction, grooming check, and initial training. 3️⃣ HR Compliance & RecordsMaintain employee personnel files as per audit standards. Track attrition and ensure proper exit formalities. Ensure handover of company assets during exit. 4️⃣ Attendance & Payroll CoordinationCoordinate with Unit Managers for daily attendance accuracy. Review shift schedules, weekly offs, and OT records. Support payroll team in salary processing and compliance documentation. 5️⃣ Employee Engagement & SupportHandle employee grievances and ensure timely resolution. Drive engagement activities (birthdays, celebrations, rewards, etc.) Promote positive workplace culture aligned with hospitality service standards. 6️⃣ Performance, Training & GroomingConduct grooming checks and SOP compliance checks. Support performance review cycles and training initiatives. Monitor new joiners’ performance during the first 15–30 days. Required Skills & QualificationsGraduate / MBA in HR preferred. 1–3 years of HR operations experience in hospitality / retail / F&B industry (preferred). Strong coordination, communication & relationship management skills. Knowledge of MS Office, HRMS tools & attendance systems. Ability to work in fast-paced operational environments.
