Role & responsibilities

HR Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting human resources data to support decision-making within an organization. The role focuses on identifying trends, optimizing HR processes, and improving workforce performance. Here are some key aspects of the role:

Core Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection and Management:

Gather and organize HR-related Consolidated Group Manpower data (e.g., employee demographics, performance, turnover rates, hiring, etc.).

Ensure data accuracy and maintain databases.

2. Data Analysis:

Analyze workforce data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Conduct analysis on employee performance, retention, hiring, compensation, and engagement metrics.

Use statistical tools like Excel, SQL, and Python to manipulate and interpret data.

3. Reporting:

Create reports and dashboards to present findings to HR managers and other stakeholders.

Visualize data using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization platforms.

4. Strategic Insights:

Provide insights that support HR strategies, such as talent acquisition, employee retention, and performance management.

Help design and implement HR initiatives based on data-driven decisions.

5. Compliance and Metrics Tracking:

Monitor key HR metrics to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Track diversity and inclusion metrics, workforce productivity, and employee satisfaction.

6. Automation and Process Improvement:

Help automate routine HR processes through data-driven solutions.

Recommend ways to improve HR processes based on data insights.

Skills Required:

Data Analysis: Expertise in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, R, etc.).

Data Visualization: Ability to present data in a clear and understandable way (Power BI, Tableau).

HR Knowledge: Understanding of human resources processes and challenges.

Communication: Ability to translate data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking to identify key issues and recommend solutions.
