HR Advisor

As an HR Advisor (Contract) at our company in Ahmedabad, your role will involve providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment law compliance. You will be the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers, supporting employee relations cases, recruitment efforts, and onboarding/offboarding processes. Additionally, you will assist in performance management, maintain HR records, and collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the primary contact for HR queries from employees and managers. - Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and ensure compliance with employment laws. - Support and advise on employee relations cases such as attendance, grievances, and conduct issues. - Coordinate recruitment activities and advise on sourcing strategies and candidate fit. - Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience. - Assist in performance management processes, including documentation and follow-ups. - Maintain accurate HR records, contracts, and reports. - Support the implementation of HR initiatives like engagement activities, training, and compliance tracking. - Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals. Qualifications: - Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. - Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in an advisory or generalist role. - Strong understanding of HR operations, policies, and Indian labor regulations. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative approach. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. - Proficient in MS Office; experience with HRIS systems is a plus. - High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in handling confidential information.
