Job Description

Job Title: General Manager – Hotel Employment Type: Full-Time Job Responsibilities: • Oversee day-to-day hotel operations (front office, housekeeping, maintenance) • Manage staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance • Ensure high standards of guest service and satisfaction • Monitor room occupancy, revenue, expenses, and profitability • Handle guest complaints and resolve operational issues • Ensure compliance with local regulations, licenses, and safety norms • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers • Prepare operational reports for ownership • Drive room sales through corporate tie-ups, travel agents, and online booking platforms (OTAs) • Develop and maintain relationships with local corporates, businesses, and travel partners • Monitor occupancy levels, room rates, and competitor pricing to maximize revenue • Implement promotional offers, seasonal pricing, and discount strategies • Coordinate with OTA portals (MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Booking.com, etc.) to improve visibility and ratings • Track daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance and suggest growth strategies • Upsell hotel services to increase average room revenue • Ensure positive guest reviews and online reputation management Requirements: • Minimum 3–7 years of hotel management experience • Experience in budget hotels or mid-scale hotels preferred • Strong leadership and people-management skills • Good communication skills (English, Hindi, Marathi preferred) • Knowledge of hotel operations, billing systems, and staff management • Ability to handle pressure and multitask Salary & Benefits: • Salary: Competitive, based on experience • Performance-based incentives • Accommodation
