Hospitality Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the Hospitality Services at Kumaraguru Institutions. This role demands a strategic thinker with operational expertise to ensure high standards of service, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across all campus hospitality offerings, including food and beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, forecast, and oversee the procurement and delivery of food and beverage services across the institution.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality and compliance.
• Lead and manage back-of-house operations, including team coordination, conflict resolution, and performance optimization.
• Manage end-to-end operational planning including cost control, pricing strategies, and workforce scheduling.
• Maintain and monitor all operational schedules such as cleaning rosters, shift plans, and staff deployment in an organized and efficient manner.
• Oversee vendor management — from onboarding and agreement preparation to routine inspections and feedback reporting.
• Participate in vendor meetings and collaborate to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with institutional standards.
• Liaise with management on any additional responsibilities or special assignments as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in hospitality operations or food services management, preferably in an institutional or large-scale setup.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with a track record of delivering high-quality guest experiences.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and operational cost control.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations within the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in vendor relationship management and service quality assurance.
