About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional STA Engineer to join our semiconductor design team. You will collaborate with talented engineers to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient, and scalable ASIC designs. This role involves leading STA efforts for complex, high-speed, advanced-node ASICs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of STA engineers to close timing on high-frequency, lower-node complex designs.
  
• Understand design architecture and timing requirements.
  
• Develop and validate SDC timing constraints.
  
• Work closely with Physical Design teams to close timing issues.
  
• Analyze timing from synthesis and verify constraints.
  
• Collaborate with architects and RTL designers on block/full-chip timing constraints.
  
• Work on SDC for block, partition, full-chip including constraint definition, IO budgeting, and merging.
  
• Interface with 3rd-party IP vendors for timing sign-off requirements.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical Engineering or ECE.
  

• 6+ years

  of experience in STA and timing closure.
• Strong hands-on experience in ASIC timing constraints & closure.
  
• Tool knowledge (Must):

  Timevision, Fishtail, Genus, PrimeTime, Tempus, Tweaker

  .
• Solid understanding of functional and test modes.
  
• Good fundamentals in Physical Design implementation.
  
• Strong scripting skills:

  TCL / Python / Perl

  .
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced process nodes:

  3nm, 5nm, 7nm, 10nm

  .
• Experience with full-chip STA closure for large designs.
  
• Knowledge of custom IPs:

  PLL, Divider, SerDes, ADC, DAC, GPIO, HSIO

  .
• Familiarity with low-power design (UPF, multi-voltage domains, power gating).
