Hardware Engineer

It includes design, development, qualification, value engineering, testbench design & manufacturing and many more services. Centum T&S has established its India operations in North Bengaluru, known as Centum T&S Pvt Ltd (CTS), formerly known as Centum Adeneo India Pvt Ltd. CTS is working with many top companies like Airbus, Thales, Hitachi Energy, GE, ABB, DANA, Alstom, etc., CTS has ambitious plans to grow to about 250 people by December 2024, delivering best-in-class electronics systems, designed to global standards based on customer specifications

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be responsible for the delivery of the items assigned to you with quality and should interact with cross functional team and resolve the problem. You should excel in working with global stakeholders and have outstanding communication and leadership skills and report to the Project Manager

Role / Position: Senior Engineer-Electrical/Electronics (Hardware test).

Location: Bangalore

What You'll Do:

• Interact with the Project Manager / Architect to understand the technical requirements specifications for the test bench; analyze data pack from the customer.
• Support to Design the ATE, Fixture, and prepare the respective electrical/ electronic schematics, wiring harness diagrams, BOM, and procurement plan for items and work with the supply chain in France or in India.
• Deliver the final configuration files of the test bench during project execution
• Preparing cost estimations; determining equivalent parts for substitution when specific parts are unavailable; identifying appropriate sources in India and globally, using the parts list.
• Liaison with suppliers and procurement team.
• Interact with subcontractors for Test Fixture.
• Contribute to the delivery of the test bench as per customer specifications and within project economics.
• Perform Functional testing, Hipot testing, and Ground bond. IVVQPR, troubleshoot, and rectify any failures in PCBA/LRU during IVVQPR
• Should be more innovative and out-of-the-box thinking to solve problems
• Should be responsible for the delivery of the items assigned to him/her with quality and within time
• Should be able to interact with a cross-functional team and resolve the problem.
• Should quickly learn the technologies, processes, and produce output with minimal guidance
• Should learn to make good documentation and produce documentation without any major review comments being received from leads
• Hands-on execution in Test Bench development, V&V projects/work packages
• Adhering to AS9100, ISO/quality, and technical standards in the execution of the project.
• Coordinating with the project team, customers, sub-vendors and proactively taking appropriate actions to resolve issues.
• Identify risks, contingency plans and escalate it to stake holders and drive team to resolve issues.
• Supporting Quality & Organizational improvement activities
• Conducting Technical Reviews/ Conduct Quality reviews, Log defects, monitor.

Who You Are?

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical OR Electronics Engg (or related field)
• Prior experience of at least 5 years in test bench engineering in electronics design support /manufacturing Test services industry
• Should have experience in ATE (Automated test equipment design support and experience in test bench electrical basic design.
• Hands-on experience with ORCAD/ AutoCAD (Electrica).
• Should have experience in data pack study and analysis, BOM estimation, and creation for ATEs.
• Knowledge of Mechanical assembly, dimensions and other measurements
• Know-how about the Data Pack of Test Bench (COTS, Boards, mechanical parts, electrical part, harness). Manufacturing, integration, and validation of test systems.
• Meticulous and hands-on with attention to detail, foresight, and independent execution capability of testing, with minimum guidance.
• Ability to establish good relationships with colleagues, partners, external teams, and get things done.
• Should be self-learn , self-focused, self-motivated, and demonstrate teamwork.
