Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Freelance Hardware Engineer (4 Years Experience) to support our engineering team on a project basis. The ideal candidate will independently handle hardware design, development, testing, and optimization tasks with minimal supervision, delivering high-quality and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electronic hardware circuits, analog/digital modules, and embedded components.

Create schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, and hardware architecture documents.

Develop prototypes, perform testing, debugging, and validation of hardware systems.

Collaborate remotely with firmware/software teams to ensure seamless integration.

Conduct component selection, BOM preparation, and cost optimization.

Ensure hardware meets compliance standards (EMC/EMI) and design-for-manufacturing guidelines.

Provide detailed technical documentation and project updates.

Manage deadlines, deliverables, and communication in a freelance environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

4 years of proven experience in hardware design and embedded systems.

Strong expertise in analog/digital circuit design and PCB development.

Proficiency with tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad, OrCAD, or similar.

Experience working with microcontrollers, communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN), sensors, and power modules.

Excellent hands-on debugging and hardware testing skills.

Ability to read datasheets, schematics, and perform detailed analysis.

Preferred Skills

Experience with IoT devices, industrial hardware, or high-speed board design.

Familiarity with product certification processes.

Exposure to hardware lifecycle management in a freelance setup.

Soft Skills

Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Ability to manage tasks independently and deliver within timelines.

Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
