The ideal candidate will bring deep experience from leading Insurtech platforms with strong exposure to digital insurance selling, loan-linked insurance products, and customer acquisition strategies. This is a leadership role responsible for driving insurance sales across both loan-attached and standalone D2C retail channels. This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Head – Insurance Retail Business located in Mumbai Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and drive the P&L for the retail insurance business, targeting both loan-linked and independent D2C insurance salesDesign and execute strategies to drive insurance attachment across Personal Loans and other retail lending journeysBuild, lead and manage a high-performing digital sales team focused on customer acquisition, conversions, and persistencyLeverage open databases, digital leads, and customer journeys to optimize sales funnel and cross-sell/upsell insuranceConceptualize and run marketing campaigns (email/SMS/push/ads) to drive customer engagement and insurance purchase intentCollaborate with product, underwriting, data, marketing and tech teams to ensure seamless integration of insurance offerings across platformsPartner with insurers to develop bundled offerings and improve commercial viabilityMonitor and improve key metrics like attachment rates, conversion, persistency and CACWork in collaboration with other Business Heads – Retail loan, Corporate loan, Personal Loan to pitch insurance to the customersImpart knowledge and develop understanding of team on insurance saleTrack market trends, competitor offerings, and feedbacks to align the sales strategyAchieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the Insurance business portfolioEnsure regulatory compliance and alignment with industry best practices in digital insurance sales Preferred QualificationsEducation: Post Graduate degree in Business administration preferred. Additional insurance certifications preferred (e.g., Licentiate from III) or Agent/ SP examination passedExperience7 years plus experience in retail insurance sales, preferably from Insurtech companies or D2C digital platformsExperience and general insurance and health business preferredFamiliarity with API-led insurance distribution, POSP models, or affiliate-led online salesExposure to early-stage growth companies or fintechs offering personal loans, BNPL, or digital credit journeys Skills: Proven track record in digital D2C insurance salesUnderstanding of loan-linked insurance, especially personal loan cross-sell journeysStrong analytical mindset, familiarity with CRM, funnel management, and campaign ROI measurementLeadership and team-building experience in a fast-paced digital sales environment Application ProcessPlease send you Resume to hr@fatakpay.com About UsFatakPay Insurance Solutions Pvt Ltd under its brand name FatakSecure is a subsidiary of FatakPay Digital.
