Head of Production

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end production process including planning, scheduling, printing, finishing, and dispatch.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, customer specifications, and industry compliance.
• Manage production budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, efficiency, and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with sales, design, procurement, and quality teams to align production with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Implement and monitor KPIs to track production output, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Lead, coach, and develop the production team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Maintain plant and machinery in optimal working condition through preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee vendor and supplier relationships related to production operations.
• Support the introduction of new technologies, methods, and processes to remain competitive.

PRE - REQUISITES:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Management, or related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in the

  printing, packaging, or labelling industry

  , with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in production planning, operations management, and quality systems.
