Role Overview

Head of Martech & Data Activation

Key Responsibilities

1. Martech Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and own 0101’s Martech strategy across acquisition, retention, upsell, cross-sell, and CRM automation.
  • Build modular, scalable frameworks for client Martech maturity—data readiness → activation → optimization.
  • Evangelize the use of data science, AI, and agentic automation to drive client KPIs.

2. Data Infrastructure & Integrations

  • Architect and oversee

    data pipelines

    ,

    first-party data ecosystems

    , CDP deployments, and cloud integrations.
  • Work with engineering teams to ensure clean ingestion, taxonomy design, identity resolution, and real-time event capture.
  • Manage integrations across ad platforms, CRM tools, analytics suites, and partner ecosystems.

3. Campaign Management & Journey Orchestration

  • Oversee end-to-end campaign execution across Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Push, Paid Media, and On-site personalization.
  • Build robust frameworks for segmentation, trigger-based automation, audience modelling, and lifecycle journeys.
  • Ensure campaigns deliver measurable improvement across activation, engagement, and revenue KPIs.

4. CLCM (Customer Lifecycle & Conversion Management)

  • Design and optimize customer journeys from onboarding to adoption, habit-building, and winback.
  • Work cross-functionally with Data Science, Creative, and Media teams to deliver funnel-level improvements.
  • Partner with platforms (CDP, CEP, identity graphs, loyalty systems) to build a standardized CLCM playbook.

5. Client Consulting & Conversion Ownership

  • Act as the Martech thought leader for all enterprise clients and CXO stakeholders.
  • Solve client problems using data + technology and convert insights into measurable business outcomes.
  • Drive A/B frameworks, CRO strategies, campaign intelligence, and personalized experience delivery.

6. Product & Partnership Development

  • Lead evaluations and partnerships with Martech platforms—CDP, CEP, analytics, attribution, automation, AI.
  • Co-create martech accelerators and plug-ins that differentiate 0101’s services.
  • Influence the roadmap for 0101’s AI-powered one-to-one communication engine.

7. Team Building & Capability Development

  • Build and lead a multidisciplinary Martech team (campaign ops, data engineers, analysts, CRM architects).
  • Create SOPs, playbooks, governance frameworks, and quality standards for all Martech delivery.
  • Mentor teams across client pods to ensure data-driven, KPI-first execution.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Deep understanding of Martech architecture: CDP, CRM, automation, APIs, ETL, and analytics.
  • Strong grasp of customer lifecycle strategy, segmentation, propensity modelling, and experimentation.
  • Ability to translate data into action—clear, commercial outcomes for client KPIs.
  • Expertise in setting up martech stacks for scale: event tracking, data warehousing, omnichannel orchestration.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing enterprise client relationships.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exposure to AI-driven personalization, recommender systems, or GenAI content automation is a plus.
