About the Role
As our Head of HR for India , you will lead the country s people strategy, driving growth, engagement, and operational excellence across a rapidly expanding workforce. You will be a key member of the global HR leadership team, responsible for aligning local HR practices with global priorities while ensuring they are culturally relevant and inclusive. This role is ideal for a strategic, people-first leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about building empowered, high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy for India that supports business growth, talent development, and employee engagement.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to country leadership and global stakeholders on all people-related matters.
- Lead and evolve core HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and compliance.
- Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives tailored to the Indian context.
- Build scalable HR processes and systems that support a growing workforce and ensure operational excellence.
- Partner with Learning & Development to drive leadership development, upskilling, and career growth across the region.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations while maintaining alignment with global policies.
- Lead change management efforts and foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles in India; experience in a global or matrixed organization preferred.
- Proven ability to lead HR strategy and operations in high-growth environments.
- Deep understanding of Indian labor laws, employment practices, and cultural nuances.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across levels and geographies.
- Experience building inclusive workplaces and driving DEIB initiatives.
- High emotional intelligence, integrity, and a people-first mindset.
- Bachelor s degree required; Master s in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
