Roles & Responsibilities


  • To plan, develop and implement strategies to ensure 100% compliance to HSE standards
  • To ensure an effective company policy for health and safety and that all on-roll employees and vendor partner employees are made aware of their individual responsibility
  • To develop the culture of Single Point Accountability amongst all the team members of the department
  • To provide leadership & guidance to the HSE team
  • To develop, implement and monitor the unit’s environmental and sustainability strategies and guide the team to follow sustainable practice
  • Liaise with the external stakeholders including the government officials and other bureaucrats
  • To lead the team to carryout internal and compliance audits of the location; report on findings and manage issue log through to completion
  • To ensure that an adequate program of training for HSE is established and that the safety culture is encouraged amongst employees
  • To identify areas where training/certification is required to meet the standards imposed by Legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, or H.S.E. guidance


Education Qualification | Work-Ex| Desired Attributes

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Fire Science, or a related field with 18+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of HSE laws and compliances & familiarity with safety training program development and delivery.
  • Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to manage external environment
