Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Environment, Health, and Safety based in Bihar, India. The role involves overseeing and implementing EHS policies and programs while ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety standards. The individual will conduct EHS audits, manage occupational health initiatives, identify and mitigate safety risks, and provide training to foster a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. They will also be responsible for tracking and reporting EHS metrics to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) management and Occupational Health practices
Expertise in Health & Safety standards and regulations, with NEBOSH certification preferred
Experience conducting EHS audits and implementing corrective measures
Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management skills
Familiarity with industry-specific EHS compliance requirements and best practices
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications are a plus)
