Job Purpose:
The Head - Module Maintenance is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations related to the module line, focusing on digitization, automation, and new production initiatives. This role emphasizes driving business excellence and optimizing equipment performance while ensuring safety and compliance. By leading new module plant projects and enhancing operational efficiency, the Head contributes to the overall success and sustainability of the module maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
Digitization & Automation:
- Establish a timeline for the automated transfer of raw materials, ensuring a demand-based system that operates on a just-in-time principle.
New Production Introduction & Line Stability
- Ensure timely setup and ramp-up of Module lines for the G2G product configuration to maintain line stability.
Business Excellence Initiatives
- Align AWMS requirements and track the completion percentage of employee training in 5S initiatives to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
New Module Plant Project
- Ensure timely completion of the 5GW Module installation project, adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
Module Plant Equipment Performance
- Measure and ensure equipment uptime for both MSEL and MSPVL Module Lines to optimize production efficiency.
Safety At Workplace
- Conduct regular safety inspections to achieve the goal of zero fatalities and reduce LTIFR through effective CAPA implementation.
Innovation
- Drive the strategic integration of cutting-edge technologies and maintenance best practices to ensure the optimal performance of solar modules.
Organizational & Culture Building
- Shape a culture of excellence and accountability, ensuring teams consistently meet performance and reliability standards for module maintenance.
Leadership In Change Management
- Lead and manage large-scale change initiatives to implement new technologies and maintenance processes, ensuring seamless transitions and measurable improvements.
People Development
Leading from the front & being accountable for the professional growth of your teams. Developing/conducting/promoting training & learning initiatives to enhance skills & empowering them to take ownership of key processes and decisions.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
- B.Tech Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical
- Desired Qualification : BE/B.Tech
Work Experience (Range Of Years)
- Min 15- 22 years of Extensive experience oversight of maintenance operations in solar module manufacturing, optimizing processes and team management.
