Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and Implement HR Strategies

  • Align HR initiatives with the organization's business strategy, vision, and values.
  • Implement company policies, general discipline measures, and code of conduct.
  • Maintain documentation in line with ISO Certification requirements.

2. Employee Relations

  • Design and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention.
  • Develop recognition programs and effective employee feedback mechanisms.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.

3. Training & Development

  • Collaborate with department heads and Project Site Leads to assess skill gaps and training needs.
  • Design and execute training programs for both new hires and existing staff.
  • Coordinate with internal and external trainers to deliver relevant sessions and workshops.
  • Create training materials, manuals, e-learning content, and track training effectiveness through feedback.

4. Performance Appraisal

  • Oversee a fair and transparent performance appraisal process aligned with organizational goals.
  • Provide coaching support to managers and employees on performance feedback.
  • Facilitate regular performance reviews and ensure timely completion.
  • Recommend recognition for top performers and support performance improvement initiatives.

5. Recruitment, Onboarding & Induction

  • Partner with department heads to forecast staffing requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Design and implement structured onboarding programs for new employees across levels.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver training and induction sessions.
  • Continuously assess and improve onboarding effectiveness through new hire feedback.

6. HR Operations & Legal Compliance

  • Oversee daily HR operations, including employee relations, HRIS, payroll, benefits, and record-keeping.
  • Manage the HR budget efficiently, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory regulations.
  • Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.

    : Proven ability to align HR strategies with business goals.

    : Capable of leading HR teams, driving results, and managing performance.

    : Strong verbal, written, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Conflict Resolution

    : Adept at resolving employee issues and mediating conflict.
  • HR Expertise

    : Deep understanding of HR best practices and labor laws.
  • Industry Knowledge

    : Experience and awareness of HR challenges in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Experience

    : Minimum 10+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in Oil & Gas.
  • Education

    : Bachelor's in Human Resources or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Technical Skills

    : Proficient in HR systems, HRIS platforms, and databases.
