Job Description

Job Summary:The Head of HR will lead the Human Resources function across the NBFC, acting as a strategic partner to the leadership team. This role is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the company’s business goals. The incumbent will oversee all facets of human capital management including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compliance, learning & development, compensation & benefits, and organizational culture.Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives.
  • Design and implement HR policies, systems, and processes that support growth and scalability.
  • Drive organizational change management and workforce planning.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:

  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition efforts, ensuring the right talent is hired efficiently.
  • Forecast hiring needs in line with business expansion and regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong employer branding strategies.

Performance Management & Employee Engagement:

  • Oversee performance management systems that drive accountability and high performance.
  • Develop employee engagement strategies to build a motivated and committed workforce.
  • Conduct regular employee satisfaction surveys and implement feedback mechanisms.

Learning & Development:

  • Establish training and development programs that enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Design competitive and compliant compensation structures aligned with market trends.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and rewards programs.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, RBI guidelines, and industry-specific HR regulations.
  • Manage internal HR audits and mitigate any associated risks.

Culture & Leadership Development:

  • Foster a culture that reflects the company’s values of integrity, transparency, and customer-centricity.
  • Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Coach senior management and promote leadership development initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strategic thinking with strong business acumen
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and RBI/NBFC compliance
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • High emotional intelligence and communication skills
  • Change management and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with HRMS and data-driven HR practices

Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Prior experience in an NBFC, BFSI, or regulated financial environment is highly preferred
