Role overview

MSM Unify's active B2G vertical has ongoing government engagements and execution experience, now entering a critical growth phase. The Head – B2G Vertical will institutionalize, strengthen, and expand this into a predictable, scalable public-sector business with complete commercial and delivery ownership. This is a business-owner leadership role with direct accountability for growth, execution, and outcomes—not maintenance or coordination.

Strategic objectives & commercial mandate

Establish MSM Unify as a credible large-scale national/international B2G partner, generating 5 Cr+ confirmed job orders by March 2026 and sustaining 20 Cr+ job order book in 12 months, with full P&L accountability from engagement to delivery.

Key responsibilities

1. B2G vertical structuring & scaling

  • Strengthen and organize the existing B2G vertical.
  • Define operating models, governance, accountability, offerings, pricing, and delivery aligned to government requirements.
  • Build scalable systems across states, ministries, and international agencies.

2. Government & institutional engagement

  • Serve as senior interface for all B2G engagements.
  • Build relationships with central/state governments, ministries, agencies, skill councils (NSDC, SSDC, SSCs), and allied bodies.
  • Lead empanelments, tenders, consortium partnerships, and policy-aligned programs.

3. Revenue generation & job order ownership

  • Drive consistent national/international government job orders.
  • Build qualified opportunity pipelines with predictable conversion and repeat business via strong execution.

4. Execution & delivery leadership

  • Own end-to-end execution of awarded projects.
  • Lead operations/delivery teams, ensuring compliance, quality, timelines, and financial discipline.
  • Manage multi-stakeholder projects across geographies/time zones.

5. Program expansion & capability building

  • Scale delivery across Train-and-Deploy, skilling/employability schemes, international workforce deployment, education/capacity-building, and mobility initiatives.
  • Align MSM Unify capabilities with evolving government policies/priorities.

Leadership expectations

  • Business-owner mindset with high accountability, low dependency, navigating ambiguity/policy shifts/complex stakeholders.
  • Strong judgment in risk/execution and building systems (not just deals); a scaling leadership role with direct outcome ownership.

Ideal candidate profile

  • Proven experience scaling B2G/government-focused verticals with track record of closing/executing large job orders.
  • Established relationships with central/state government bodies and experience in commercial acquisition + delivery.
  • Exposure to national/international government-funded programs and ability to build structure/discipline/performance culture in teams.
