Ensuring compliance of safety rules and revised safety procedures based on OISD standards and other applicable statutory regulations. ORGANISATIONAL CHART RESPONSIBILITIES RESPONSIBILITIES ACTIVITIES QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Training : Impart Training to the employee and contractor on regular basis Authority : design the schedule and execute the same Criteria/Protocol for various safety trainings. Development & implementation of class room and online training modules & certification. Revision of mandatory and other technical safety training modules at regular interval. Imparting induction training & other safety trainings to employees, contract employees, delegates & visitors/trainees as per the module. Training validation system for employees and contractors and revision. Participate in Training - Ext + Internal. Design Training Schedule and communicate the same. Training MIS management. Planning: Budget preparation & monitoring. Procurement & inventory management of PPE's & Reliability of Safety Instruments Capex & Opex budget preparation and utilization. All expenditures are monitored on monthly basis to ensure that expenses are within the budget. Preparation of specifications & material code, Generation of PR, Technical validation of the material. Inspection of material in MMC. Monitoring & maintaining the inventory through MIS. ARC for safety Instruments supply, maintenance, calibration & Repair and portal management. Maintain membership in various international and national safety organizations. "Safety promotions for employee participation & Development of IT platforms, Document management” Planning & Development of Safety promotional activities for employee participation. Ensure online Safety portal, Incident Reporting & investigation & use of online RTS for all safety recommendations. Saksham, Disciplinary Action and Gas Detectors management through portal. "Safety Internal Library management, DMS, DR&CS, procedures list compilation & monitoring their status and procedure" Safety Awards and Membership with BSC, NSC, GSC. Safety campaign organization Safety promotional scheme implementation. MIS: Coordinate and provide analysis & insights, inputs/information, for various levels of MIS as defined. IN ORDER TO enable timely decision making to achieve business plan objectives. Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly activity report is compiled on time about safety To submit MIS to Area Manager Safety To provide details of Safety systems in monthly safety meetings. To compile leading and lagging indicators. Safety data analysis Workplace Safety: To achieve a safe work place. To develop and ensure implementation of Safety procedure and improvement plans in the unit allotted. To lead effective implementation of Safety systems and procedures to the area of accountability. To ensure that all safety related statutory requirements are fulfilled effectively in the unit allotted. To ensure that in-house and external safety audit is being carried out at specified periodicity and recommendations are implemented. Coordinate CFA and other internal audits as per the schedule prepared. Ensure safety compliance during shutdown / turnaround. Incident reporting and investigation.in the allotted unit Authority : to seek for reports related to incidents and to share the same To ensure reporting of all incidents. To ensure investigation of all reports. To share learning from incidents. To ensure online reporting of all incidents including near miss incidents. To monitor implementation of investigation recommendation. Systems, Policies & Procedures : Implement Safety Management system to systematically reduce incident rates and sustain them at very low levels To define the role clarity for all the positions. Monitoring of objective and targets of all departments aligning with the business targets. Presenting any gaps in MRM. To define the performance contract for the identified positions & conduct Reviews, recognize & reward based on the performance. Monitor of all legal obligations are fulfilled within due time limits and updation in Legatrix. Compliance of all rules and regulations by audits and inspections. Ensure implementation of safety procedures, use of high quality standards PPEs and planning to inculcate safety culture among the projects contractors. Energy Management System-50001:2011 EnMS Awareness about Energy policy- 50001:2011 Significant energy uses. Energy objectives and Energy Management System. KEY CHALLENGES To monitor the implementation of safety systems & procedures to minimize recordable injuries as per defined BSC. To ensure workplace safety compliances at Projects.
