As a Process Engineer specializing in boiler process engineering, thermal design, and hydraulics calculation for water steam cycles and balance of plants, your primary responsibility will be to excel in performance calculations and optimization. You will be required to manage engineering activities, tendering, and project development for power/process projects while ensuring compliance with domestic/international codes and industry design standards. Your role will involve reviewing and preparing engineering documents such as process flow diagrams (PFD), P&IDs, IO lists, and BOQs. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing process calculation reports, GA drawings, and equipment arrangements. Perform design pressure and temperature calculations for equipment, valves, and piping. Engage in project conceptualization, risk identification, mitigation, and power plant cycle enhancement. Prepare technical specifications, evaluate vendor offers, and coordinate with customers, vendors, project managers, engineers, and sub-contractors to ensure project efficiency. Resolve design conflicts, fouling/overlap issues, and ensure timely updates to As-Built drawings. Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and Navisworks is mandatory. Lead and manage a team of designers and draftsmen, ensuring timely delivery of project drawings. Collaborate closely with the parent company to maintain effective communication and progress tracking. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 7+ years of experience in the Boiler Industry and hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Main Responsibilities Boiler Design & Engineering Oversee boiler design from concept to detailed engineering Develop and review design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications. Ensure compliance with international and local codes (ASME, ISO, IBR). Participate in design risk assessments and propose solutions. Technical Leadership Serve as the main technical reference for complex engineering issues. Lead and actively participate in design and model reviews to ensure operability.
