Position Overview:

The Lead-Growth and Performance Marketing India will be responsible for leading the development and execution of performance-driven marketing strategies to drive direct to consumer acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role will be instrumental in building and optimizing digital campaigns across key channels, with a focus on delivering measurable ROI and maximizing customer lifetime value. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital, creative, and product marketing, to execute innovative, data-driven strategies that scale across the region.


Here are some of the EXCITING things you will get to do:

  • Lead the development and execution of performance marketing strategies, including paid search, display, social media advertising, affiliate marketing, and email marketing, to drive growth in the India region.
  • Own the performance marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to optimize ROI across campaigns.
  • Analyse and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization to improve key metrics such as cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and customer lifetime value (CLV).
  • Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies to scale high-quality leads and engage new customers through targeted campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the creative and product marketing teams to develop engaging ad creatives, landing pages, and offers that resonate with local audiences.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, partners, and vendors, ensuring alignment with performance marketing objectives.
  • Lead a team of performance marketers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices in performance marketing, ensuring the brand remains innovative and competitive in the market.


What does a great outcome look like?

A great outcome as the Lead of Growth and Performance Marketing role means delivery of revenue target of the Shark and Ninja brands across the suite of direct-to-consumer websites and ecommerce marketplaces across the India region. Success is defined by the ability to optimize and scale high-performing campaigns that deliver exceptional ROI, improving key performance metrics such as cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and customer lifetime value (CLV). A great outcome also involves fostering a data-driven culture, continually testing and refining strategies to stay ahead of market trends. Effective leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams will ensure that performance marketing efforts align seamlessly with broader business objectives, contributing to a sustained increase in brand visibility, customer acquisition, and long-term loyalty in the India market.


Required Skills And Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in performance marketing, with a track record of successfully managing and scaling campaigns across multiple digital channels.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis, marketing attribution, and performance metrics (CPA, ROAS, CLV, etc.).
  • Experience in managing performance marketing for both direct-to-consumer (DTC) and retail channels.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and other organic growth strategies in addition to paid performance channels.
  • Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and other performance analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets and deliver significant ROI on performance-driven campaigns.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and lead a team to success.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, problem-solving, and project management skills, with a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments, ideally within the consumer goods or e-commerce space.
  • Experience with forecasting and planning working with external agency partners and internal cross functional teams.
  • Experience with affiliate marketing management strategies and execution.
