Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Operations Monitoring
- Assist in monitoring warehouse processes such as inbound, storage, inventory management, order processing, and outbound activities.
- Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other analytical tools to track key performance metrics and ensure operational efficiency.
- Actively support daily operations and identify areas for improvement to minimize delays and inefficiencies.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze large volumes of operational data to identify trends, detect anomalies, and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on KPIs, including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, turnaround time, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting mechanisms and enhance data visibility.
Issue Resolution & Process Optimization
- Assist in identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks, escalating critical issues when necessary.
- Participate in process optimization initiatives, leveraging data insights to recommend improvements in productivity and quality.
- Contribute to ongoing Lean and Six Sigma projects to drive cost reduction and operational excellence.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any stream) from a recognized institution.
Skills And Attributes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a natural inclination for data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Passion for technology-driven solutions in supply chain and warehouse operations.
Preferred Experience
- Internship or project experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, or data analytics will be an added advantage.
