Job Description

Director – Global Immigration

Work Location: Bengaluru


Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Director – Global Immigration to lead and manage all aspects of immigration and work authorization processes across North America, EMEA, and Rest of the World (ROW) from our offshore location. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in global visa and work permit processes, vendor and stakeholder management, and driving operational excellence through automation and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead global immigration operations from offshore for North America, EMEA, and ROW
  • Ensure timely and compliant filing of visa/work permit applications with service providers and consulates
  • Monitor and publish dashboards and compliance reports to senior management
  • Maintain SOPs, Book of Knowledge, and checklists per changing immigration laws
  • Stay updated on global immigration policies and communicate changes internally
  • Ensure data privacy compliance in managing employee documents and records
  • Drive automation and efficiency across immigration workflows
  • Manage vendor contracts, SLAs, onboarding, and quality assessments
  • Oversee immigration budgets, invoice processing, and fiscal provisioning
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and Business Units for seamless execution


Desired Profile

  • Minimum

    15 years' experience

    in global immigration and mobility operations, ideally in multinational firms
  • In-depth knowledge of visa and work permit processes for North America, EMEA, and ROW – primarily UK, US, ME, Poland
  • Proven expertise in immigration compliance, vendor governance, and policy management
  • Hands-on experience in automation and digital transformation of immigration processes
  • Strong grasp of data privacy and cross-border compliance standards
  • Effective stakeholder engagement across geographies and functions
  • Solid financial acumen in budgeting and cost control for immigration spend
  • Excellent communication and influencing capabilities
  • Track record of managing service providers across global jurisdictions
  • Ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
