JOB SUMMARY:

This role will be responsible for the strategy, planning, and running of the Supplier Strategic Administration office.

The Supplier Strategic Administration office will be the ‘engine room’ of the Global Supplier strategic function, a team which focuses on high volume, process heavy activities (e.g. supplier on-boarding including compliance checks and contracting, delivery of agreed SSM services to the client, supplier audit responsibilities) as well as working with the wider SSM team to agree on a roadmap of ‘central’ activities which can benefit multiple towers or the full team, e.g. an SSM data and reporting requirements.

This role will be responsible for ensuring that the Supplier Strategic Administration office is set up to work in a scalable, cost and time efficient manner, leveraging near-shore and off-shore location options and automation as appropriate.

As part of the Extended Global SSA Team, this role will have two direct reports who lead a pool of shared resources in the delivery of Administration, Compliance and other support for the broader Global SSM function. This role will be responsible for ensuring the shared resource pool have clear career objectives, that their performance objectives are aligned to overall team strategy, that the shared resource pool are being appropriately performance managed in their tasks and have overall leadership responsibilities within this Global function.

This role will be responsible for working with the Supplier Managers and Supplier Relations Managers to ensure that RSR preferred suppliers (including Op Co’s) are on-boarded to new client accounts as per agreed business processes. This role will be responsible for ensuring client and preferred supplier satisfaction as a result of these processes.

This role will partner with SSA Compliance resources to ensure alignment on supplier on-boarding plans for new client implementations, and for major BAU projects with existing clients.


POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Determining organizational objectives in partnership with the Global SSM Leadership Team and creating team strategy, policy and improvement programs accordingly.
  • Responsible for all Supplier strategic activities in relation to ongoing client delivery for all required alignment on clients requirements.
  • Responsible for Strategic supplier Administration activities including: end to end new supplier on-boarding (compliance, contracting etc), ongoing supplier audit activities to validate compliance to contractual commitments, managing the SSM communications strategy to external stakeholders, and providing SSM supplier reporting (TBC).
  • Partnering with the Global SSM leaders to develop a technology strategy and roadmap to drive efficiency and consistency in relevant Supplier strategic processes.
  • Continuous focus on process excellence and continuous improvement to ensure maximum efficiency on key operations activities.
  • Building out a best in class infrastructure for the on-boarding of suppliers to the RSR ecosystem.
  • Building out a highly scalable, cost efficient approach to providing service level SSM services to applicable clients.
  • Management oversight of shared resources including career and performance objective setting, training and other HR related obligations.
  • Partner with Operations to ensure alignment on client management roles and responsibilities in a post go live environment for agreed client requirements, as well as continued partnership in the delivery of client services.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • Additional education strongly preferred



EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of experience in the staffing industry
  • Project management / process excellence background strongly preferred
  • Experience of effectively partnering with management and senior management level internal stakeholders
  • MSP experience strongly preferred, or a background in providing services to corporate clients
  • Procurement / Supplier strategic experience preferred
  • Track record of developing strategic plans and successfully implementing (around supplier on-boarding & compliance management)
  • Preferred - Leadership and line management experience a must, preferably in a global environment
