Position: General Manager Finance

Experience Required:

Seasoned finance professional with 8–10 years of experience in independently managing companies with an annual turnover of 15–20 Cr. Proven track record in leading small finance teams (2–3 members) while overseeing end-to-end financial operations, including day-to-day accounting, compliance, and reporting. Strong expertise in:

Core Competencies:

• Financial Management:

  Oversight of daily accounting operations, cash flow planning, vendor and customer payments, bank coordination, and expense control.

• MIS & Analytics:

  Preparation of detailed, accurate, and timely MIS reports, financial dashboards, and variance analysis for leadership review.

• Compliance & Audit:

  Ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF/ESIC, and ROC filings. Liaison with auditors and consultants during audits.

• Execution Excellence:

  Strong ownership mindset with a proven ability to drive processes to closure through structured follow-ups and execution rigor.

• Team Leadership:

  Experience in guiding and mentoring junior team members, fostering accountability and operational accuracy.

Demonstrated ability to work closely with business heads, auditors, and external consultants to drive financial discipline and operational efficiency.

Role Overview

high-performing, self-driven General Manager – Finance

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Operations & Management

• Oversee daily finance operations ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely vendor payments and client collections.
• Monitor bank reconciliations, cash flow, and conduct regular cash audits.
• Ensure accurate invoicing, diligent follow-up on receivables, and effective credit control.

2. Compliance & Audit

• Ensure full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, etc.).
• Liaise with internal and external auditors; ensure timely and clean audit closures.
• Identify and mitigate financial leakages through robust internal controls.
• Enforce compliance with internal policies, processes, and SOPs.

3. MIS & Reporting

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports including:
• Profit & Loss Statements
• Balance Sheets
• Cash Flow Reports
• Business-wise financial performance metrics
• Provide financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support decision-making.

4. Technology & Automation

• Leverage

  Microsoft Dynamics

  and other ERP tools for streamlined finance operations.
• Drive automation and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead digital initiatives to optimize finance workflows and reporting mechanisms.

5. Strategic & Business Support

• Partner with business heads to provide financial insights for strategic planning.
• Analyze KPIs and margins to guide performance improvement and cost control.
• Facilitate alignment between financial objectives and broader business goals.

6. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, guide, and upskill the finance team to drive performance and accountability.
• Conduct training on systems, policies, compliance updates, and financial best practices.

7. Collections & Receivables Management

• Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
• Maintain strong client relationships to ensure timely payments and smooth financial transactions.

Skills & Qualifications

• CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
• 8–15 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in device sales or multi-entity operations.
• Proficiency in

  Microsoft Dynamics / Navision / ERP systems
