Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD pipelines) and knowledge of Version Control and branching strategy are must-haves. Ensuring adherence to design standards, reviews, coding standards, code quality checks, testing standards, and reviews will also be part of your role. Your background should include a B.E/B.Tech (EEE/ECE/CSE) degree with over 10 years of experience as a Quality Analyst. You should have experience in writing test plans, executing test cases for web applications, and conducting UI testing. Strong knowledge and work experience in automation tools like Selenium, WebDriver IO, Cypress, Playwright, etc., as well as proficiency in programming languages emphasizing OOPs concepts like C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, will be required. Experience in testing APIs using tools like POSTMAN, SOAPUI, REST-Assured, and automating APIs is essential. Furthermore, you should have experience in functional testing, integration testing, system testing, and regression testing, along with being responsible for Releases. Possessing strong decision-making skills, experience with performance and security testing, and a background as a Business Analyst would be advantageous. Being self-dependent, self-motivated, having structured work habits, and driving creative innovation with strong ownership in IT and OT technologies will be beneficial.
